Job summary

Cyviz is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team in Oslo. You will manage invoicing, revenue recognition, project accounting and intercompany transactions across multiple group companies, ensuring high-quality financial reporting.

This role requires 3–5+ years in accounting within an international environment, with a focus on accuracy, controls and process improvements. Fluency in English is essential; Norwegian language is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of accounting experience in an international/group or project-based business.
• Knowledge of Norwegian GAAP and Norwegian accounting regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage invoicing, revenue recognition and ongoing accounting for customers and group companies.
• Prepare and review reconciliations, accruals and supporting documentation; support month-/quarter-/year-end closes.
• Handle bookkeeping for entities in Norway, the UK and the Netherlands.
• Coordinate intercompany transactions, reconciliations and invoicing between Cyviz entities.
• Support VAT and tax matters, ensuring accounting treatment aligns with regulations.
• Follow up accounts receivable, payment differences and customer-related matters.
• Contribute to internal controls, process improvements and ERP developments.
• Collaborate with Sales and Project Management to ensure financial follow-up of projects.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, structured and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 3-5+ years of relevant experience to join our Finance & Accounting team.

In this role, you will be responsible for key accounting activities across multiple group companies, with a focus on invoicing, revenue recognition, project accounting, reconciliations and financial reporting. You will play an important role in ensuring high-quality accounting processes, accurate financial reporting and efficient collaboration across countries and functions.

You will work closely with Finance, Sales, Project Management and other business functions, supporting the financial follow-up of customer projects and helping drive continuous improvements in financial processes and systems.

This role offers the opportunity to develop your expertise within group accounting, project finance and international finance operations, while working in a dynamic and international technology company.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage invoicing, revenue recognition and ongoing accounting follow-up for customers and selected group companies.
• Prepare and review reconciliations, accruals and supporting documentation, and contribute to month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes.
• Handle bookkeeping and accounting activities for entities in Norway, the UK and the Netherlands.
• Coordinate intercompany transactions, reconciliations and invoicing between Cyviz entities.
• Support VAT and tax-related matters, including customer inquiries, transaction assessments and ensuring accounting treatment is aligned with relevant VAT and tax regulations.
• Follow up accounts receivable, payment differences and customer-related accounting matters.
• Contribute to strong internal controls, process improvements and further development of finance routines and ERP processes.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Project Management and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality financial follow-up of projects and customer deliveries.

Qualifications

• Higher education within Accounting, Auditing, Economics or Finance.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience from accounting, auditing or a finance function, preferably within an international group or project-based business.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, accruals, invoicing and revenue recognition.
• Knowledge of Norwegian GAAP and relevant Norwegian accounting regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Experience with project accounting, intercompany transactions and international accounting processes is considered an advantage.
• Fluent in English; Norwegian is beneficial.
