Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Norway and Denmark Controller to join the Nordics Finance organization. You will lead forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, partnering with Plant Managers and Sales teams to drive cost efficiency and profitability across Norway and Denmark.

The role emphasizes close collaboration with local management and Group Finance, ensuring data accuracy, controls, and timely financial insights in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Solid experience in business and industrial controlling, including cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting within a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Controlling role, preferably within an industrial or production setting.
• Proven experience in month-end closing processes and management reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is highly preferred. Familiarity with reporting and BI tools (e.g. Hyperion, QlikView).
• Fluency in English; additional Nordic language skills are a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across functions and organizational levels.
• Highly structured, accurate, and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and professional integrity.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving environment.
• Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines, while maintaining high quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Industrial Controlling: Partner with the Plant Manager to monitor and improve production cost performance.
• Industrial Controlling: Perform variance analysis on labor, materials, and manufacturing costs.
• Industrial Controlling: Support initiatives to increase efficiency and cost competitiveness, particularly at the Drammen plant.
• Business Controlling: Support Sales teams in Norway and Denmark with profitability and performance analysis.
• Business Controlling: Provide financial insight to support commercial and operational decision‑making.
• Business Controlling: Contribute to margin improvement and profitability management.
• Planning, Reporting & Governance: Lead forecasting, budgeting, and planning activities in line with Group guidelines.
• Planning, Reporting & Governance: Support month-end closing, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
• Planning, Reporting & Governance: Ensure alignment and transparency with local management, Nordics Finance, and Group functions.
• Finance Business Partnering: Act as a trusted partner to operational and commercial stakeholders.
• Finance Business Partnering: Drive KPI monitoring and performance management.
• Finance Business Partnering: Provide ad hoc financial analysis, business cases, and decision‑making support.
• Finance Business Partnering: Oversee inventory and investment‑related financial activities.
• Finance Business Partnering: Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and adherence to internal controls and Group policies.
