Job summary

Mercury is seeking a Lead Senior Planner in Kristiansand, Norway to lead the planning function for large-scale engineering and construction projects. You will manage a team of planners, develop integrated master schedules, and ensure accurate reporting and forecasting across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning stages.

The role requires extensive experience in Data Centre projects, strong leadership and stakeholder management, and advanced proficiency with Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years’ planning and project controls experience in large-scale construction or mission-critical environments.
• Proven ability to lead planning coordination across construction teams.
• Strong understanding of Data Centre project lifecycles including design, procurement and commissioning.
• Excellent understanding of Earned Value Management and schedule variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the senior planning team and supervise planners across the programme.
• Develop, maintain and control integrated master schedules for design, procurement, construction and handover.
• Establish progress measurement systems and ensure consistent portfolio reporting.
