Job summary

Sperton Norway is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer based in Haugesund, Norway, to work hands-on with Creo for mechanical design and 3D modelling.

You will develop components and assemblies, review drawings, and apply geometrical tolerancing. You’ll guide and train teammates in Creo and mechanical design, improve design quality, and contribute to documentation. Knowledge of welding, hydraulics, and mechanical systems is a plus, alongside collaborative problem-solving with the engineering team.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Creo design software.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with GD&T is desirable.
• Ability to guide and train teammates in Creo.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3D modelling and mechanical design using Creo.
• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies.
• Prepare and review technical drawings and design documentation.
• Work with geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing of mechanical components.
• Ensure that designs meet relevant technical requirements and specifications.
• Guide and train team members in Creo and mechanical design.
• Collaborate with other engineers to ensure effective design solutions.
• Apply knowledge of welding, hydraulics, and mechanical systems where relevant.
