Job summary

OneSubsea is seeking a Senior Designer to deliver high quality mechanical design outputs for projects and products, ensuring compliance with standards. You will craft drawings, manage BOMs in SAP, and lead design reviews while supporting manufacturing improvements.

We expect a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, 3+ years CAD experience in O&G or related fields, and proficiency with SolidWorks or CATIA. This is a 6-month contract based in Lysaker, with an ASAP start.

Qualifications

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of CAD design experience from O&G or other mechanical industries.
• Strong SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar CAD skills.
• Knowledge of GD&T and SAP.
• Team player with strong communication skills.

You will be responsible for delivery of high quality technical output from engineering activities related to design in project execution or product development and to ensure compliance with department procedures, project requirements and applicable standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain mechanical designs and drawings
• Manage BOMs and engineering changes in SAP
• Conduct design reviews and quality check
• Flexibility, ability and initiative to develop and adapt new technical skills
