Job summary

Energy As seeks a Senior Instrumentation Engineer in Bergen to lead instrumentation activities across FEED and execution phases. You will review documentation, prepare installation packages, and oversee procurement and delivery of equipment while ensuring compliance with technical standards.

The role requires 5+ years in oil and gas instrumentation, strong collaboration skills, field experience, and knowledge of ATEX/IEC standards; TRs/NORSOK familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in multidisciplinary oil and gas instrumentation projects
• Strong collaboration and handling of modification project complexity
• Field instrumentation experience including procurement QA and documentation
• Experience with design documentation, site surveys, vendor evaluation and installation methods
• Knowledge of ATEX and IEC standards
• Familiarity with Equinor TRs and NORSOK is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Review docs and drawings to map FEED scope
• Prepare design basis for estimation, planning, and procurement in FEED/execution
• Present and communicate work during FEED phase
• Update drawings and documentation
• Prepare installation documentation and work packages
• Procurement and follow-up of materials
• Independently responsible for all instrumentation deliveries
• Conduct site surveys
