Job summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team on a contract basis in Bergen Norway As an Instrument Technician you will be responsible for installing maintaining and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial settings Your work will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our clients facilities

Key Responsibilities

• Install calibrate test and maintain various types of instruments such as pressure gauges temperature sensors flow meters and control valves
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and perform necessary repairs
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of instruments
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities and report any malfunctions or abnormalities
• Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute projects involving instrument installations or upgrades
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant regulations and standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent technical degree or certification in instrumentation is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
• Strong understanding of instrumentation principles and ability to read technical manuals and schematics
• Proficiency in using hand tools electrical testing equipment and computer software for instrument calibration
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours including eveningsweekends as needed
• Must be physically fit as the job may require standing for long periods of time or working at heights

The salary for this position is 1000$ per month
