Job summary

Dovre Solutions is seeking an HSSEQ Lead to develop and maintain project-specific health, safety, environment, quality plans and management systems for an international project in Norway. You will promote a proactive culture and ensure compliance across lifecycle activities.

The role requires strong experience in HSSEQ leadership, risk assessment, audits, and continuous improvement, with fluency in English as a working language.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of HSSE and Quality standards such as ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001.
• Strong understanding of drivers for HSSEQ performance and culture.
• Solid grasp of project management concepts including risk management.
• Proficient in English as a working language.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSSEQ plans and management systems aligned with requirements.
• Provide visible HSSEQ leadership and promote a proactive safety and quality culture.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, permits, standards, and contractual HSSEQ requirements.
• Lead risk identification, assessment, and mitigation for the project.
• Monitor HSSEQ performance via audits, inspections, KPI reporting, and reviews.
• Advise management on HSSEQ matters and support risk-reduction decisions.
• Lead incident reporting, root cause analysis, and lessons learned.
• Coordinate HSSEQ training and competency development for personnel.
