Job summary

RavenPack, a leading AI company in finance, seeks a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to own end-to-end ranking, retrieval, and recommender systems from ideation to deployment at our Marbella headquarters.

You will collaborate with product, software, and data science teams to deliver fast, personalized content and stay ahead with NLP/IR research. Excellent English communication and EU working status are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in CS/ML/DS or related quantitative field.
• 3+ years in building and deploying ML models in production, esp. IR/Search/RS.
• Strong Python skills; SQL or equivalent query language.
• Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face.
• Experience with vector databases.
• Excellent English communication; collaborative in agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of ranking and retrieval models.
• Develop semantic search and model distillation techniques.
• Build scalable recommender systems for personalized content.
• Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and data scientists.
• Stay current with ML/NLP/IR research and prototype ideas.
