Job summary

Bitdeer Technologies Group is seeking a seasoned senior accountant to own day-to-day accounting, ensure robust controls, and drive accurate month-end closes across multiple entities. You will coordinate with auditors and tax teams while supporting budgets and financial modelling.

The role requires strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge, superb Excel/ERP skills, and fluency in Norwegian and English, with a focus on accuracy in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in auditing or accounting.
• CA/CPA certification or progress toward certification is a strong plus.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and year-end closing deliverables for multiple entities.
• Prepare full set of accounts and maintain GL; oversee daily accounting operations.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Support annual external audits and group audit processes.
• Manage fixed asset counting, capitalization, and disposals.
• Collaborate with tax, treasury, and operations for accurate reporting.
