Job summary

Bitdeer is seeking an experienced accounting professional to own day-to-day accounting operations, ensure timely month-end and year-end closes, and lead multi-entity general ledger management. You will drive audits, variance analysis, cash flow planning, and tax support while collaborating with cross-functional teams, including operations and procurement.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and fluency in Norwegian and English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in auditing or accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CA/CPA certification or progress toward certification is a strong plus.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and year-end closing deliverables for multiple entities.
• Prepare full set of accounts, reconcile ledgers, and manage daily accounting operations.
• Prepare and review entries, bank reconciliations, and schedules.
• Support year-end audits and provide variance analysis and cash flow planning.
• Coordinate with tax authorities and group tax, liaising with banks and auditors.
