Job summary

Odfjell Drilling is seeking a Finance Manager to lead accounting quality, reporting, and compliance across the group. In a senior, hands-on role, you will work with VP Finance to ensure IFRS, local GAAP, and tax compliance while strengthening internal controls.

You will drive continuous improvement of financial processes and act as main contact for auditors and external advisors, enabling value creation through robust governance and international operations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5–8 years in accounting, audit, or finance; Big Four preferred.
• Strong IFRS and Local GAAP expertise; internal controls and tax knowledge.
• Experience in international environments and group reporting.
• Ownership mindset and hands-on leadership; high integrity and detail.
• Structured, solution-oriented with strong communication and stakeholder skills.
• Proactive with continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate quality and integrity of financial accounting and reporting across all entities.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, leases, and capital projects accounting.
• Ensure alignment with IFRS, corporate policies, and local GAAP requirements.
• Oversee period-end and year-end processes across all relevant legal entities.
• Monitor and improve balance sheet quality, reconciliations, and accounting controls.
• Contribute to statutory, tax & VAT reporting across international operations.
• Support VP Finance and leadership on accounting and compliance matters.
• Contribute to strengthen internal control frameworks and documentation.
• Drive governance of outsourced accounting services.
• Act as primary finance contact for auditors and coordinating with external advisors.
• Provide technical accounting guidance to controllers and finance colleagues.
• Maintain and support key accounting processes.
• Support maintenance and improvement of the internal control framework.
