Job summary

KONGSBERG DEFENCE & AEROSPACE AS is seeking a Group Accounting Manager to oversee financial consolidation for four business areas and to work closely with Tax, Reporting, Finance Treasury and Investor Relations. Based in Kongsberg with possible office space at Tjuvholmen, you will support quarterly and annual statements and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

Higher education in Accounting & Auditing or Finance.
3-5 years' experience from audit/advisory firm and/or in-house group accounting.
Experience with financial consolidation and systems applications (HFM, Cognos).
Knowledge of IFRS and other regulations.
Good communication skills in Norwegian and English.

Responsibilities

Contribute to preparing the consolidated accounts.
Be a key contributor to quarterly and annual financial statements.
Contribute to group tax accounting in dialog with Corporate Tax.
Report financial instruments in the consolidated accounts with Corporate Treasury.
Support M&A activities including due diligence, contracts, settlement and integration.
Identify opportunities to improve the group’s accounting function, including use of systems and technology.
Contribute to implementation and compliance of accounting principles.
