Job summary

CAI Software is seeking an experienced Finance Manager in Norway to drive financial performance, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision-making across the business. You will work closely with senior leadership in a fast-paced software environment.

This role oversees day-to-day financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, intercompany accounting, and tax compliance, while leading internal controls and partnering with external auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive finance experience, ideally within the software or technology sector.
• Strong knowledge of Norwegian accounting standards, tax legislation, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Visma).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations for group companies.
• Act as primary finance liaison to group leadership and intercompany coordination.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist budgeting and forecasting with department heads.
• Ensure compliance with Norwegian tax regulations and VAT.
