Job summary

Energy AS in Rogaland, Norway, is seeking an experienced Estimator for offshore projects. You will deliver comprehensive cost estimates for Decommissioning, Operations, and Exploration while ensuring quality and traceability of data and alignments with corporate standards.

The role requires 5+ years in oil & gas estimation, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary reviews and provide decision-support to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Economics or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in project estimation in oil & gas, 3+ years as cost estimator in large construction.
• Deep understanding of offshore development project execution and gate processes.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Norwegian coding and classification systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review cost estimates and risk premiums per company policy.
• Develop estimates using WBS methodology reflecting project scope and interfaces.
• Coordinate with planning and cost disciplines to align cost with schedule.
• Analyze contractor and partner estimates for validity and quality.
• Support cost risk modeling, benchmarking, and estimation tooling improvements.
