Job summary

Head Energy Consulting AS is seeking an Electrical - Senior Engineer to join our Stavanger team. The role focuses on designing and verifying electrical installations for onshore and offshore projects, ensuring compliance with NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL and IEC standards.

You will coordinate with vendors and multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive engineering packages. Ideal candidates have offshore experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work independently or as part of a

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience with electrical design on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
• Knowledge of NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL and IEC standards.
• FSE high- and low voltage and practical first aid.
• English proficiency; Norwegian preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and verify design of electrical installations.
• Package Responsible Engineer.
• Define and design heat trace requirements per P&IDs.
• Prepare, check and approve MTO and technical requisitions.
• Follow up vendors and interface with other disciplines.
• Insert data into the engineering registry and produce work packages.
• Conduct site surveys and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
