Job summary

Energy As seeks an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer for an offshore/industrial environment in Stavanger, Norway. The role emphasizes electrical installation operation and maintenance, safety, and LEAN improvements within established company standards.

Required are a bachelor’s or master’s in electrical engineering, 5+ years of relevant experience, and fluency in English and Norwegian. NORSOK experience and valid work permit in Norway are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Trade certificate in the electrical field is advantageous.
• Proficiency in both English and Norwegian communication.
• Experience with operation and maintenance of electrical power systems (generators, VFDs, switchgear).
• Knowledge of HVAC design and operation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for operation and maintenance of electrical installations.
• Maintain technical integrity for electrical systems.
• Verify and approve technical solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of electrical systems.
• Promote safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
• Participate in networks and technical forums.
• Develop and maintain inputs to the BMS within the discipline.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and processes.
• Understand and deliver business improvements per LEAN principles.
• Some travel may be expected.
