Job summary

IKM Consultants AS is seeking a Project Engineer in Stord, Norway, to lead commissioning activities for designated systems. The role requires planning, execution, and supervision of completion and commissioning tasks with strong HSSE focus.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's or Master’s in Engineering and at least 10 years in oil & gas, with direct NORSOK project experience on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Expect offshore rotations and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant oil and gas experience.
• Direct experience from NORSOK projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
• Strong knowledge of system-based commissioning and leadership abilities.
• Self-motivated with solid problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute in the preparation phase by reviewing documents and drawings for MC and commissioning.
• Provide engineering input and plan commissioning scope for onshore/offshore.
• Lead and coordinate commissioning activities and teams, including punch outs and FATs.
• Ensure HSSE focus and smooth transition from Project to Operations.
• Plan resources, spares, and first fills; update progress in PIMS.
