Civil Engineer - Infrastructure Design and Planning (Oslo, Norway)

We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and planning infrastructure projects, such as roads, bridges, and public utilities. Your role will involve collaborating with architects, construction teams, and government agencies to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and in compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project feasibility and gather data
• Prepare drawings, blueprints, and specifications for infrastructure projects
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed plans
• Calculate costs and materials needed for construction projects
• Collaborate with architects, construction teams, and government agencies to ensure project designs meet requirements
• Oversee the construction process to ensure plans are being followed correctly
• Conduct quality control checks on materials used in construction
• Monitor progress of projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
• Prepare progress reports for clients or stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in infrastructure design and planning
• Strong knowledge of design software such as CAD
• Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and standards
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

Our ideal candidate would have experience working on infrastructure projects in Norway or other Nordic countries. In addition to technical skills, we value candidates who are able to think creatively and bring innovative solutions to the table. Proficiency in Norwegian is a plus but not required.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per month for this position.
