Job summary

Quorum Software, the world’s leading provider of digital technology for oil and gas, seeks a Senior EC Solution Consultant to join the Stavanger/Trondheim consulting team. The role focuses on delivering Energy Components software to customers in Norway and internationally.

You will facilitate workshops, analyze business requirements, model processes, and configure the Energy Components suite to meet client needs, while collaborating with product development and ensuring high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Information Technology or Petroleum Technology or similar
• 5+ years of work experience in the Oil & Gas business
• Experience in business process modelling and requirement analysis
• Technical competences in database modelling and programming, preferably Oracle (PL/SQL)
• Experience in programming, preferably Java
• Strong system integration experience
• Experience with cloud solutions, containers and RESTful integrations
• Experience in a customer facing role serving in a consultative and providing problem solving capacity
• Excellent communication skills, and fluent in English, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Facilitating and leading workshops with clients, for the purpose of analyzing and gathering user requirements and documenting business processes
• Analysis of business requirements and presentation of findings in clear and concise documentation including gap analysis, identification of risks, dependencies and recommendations for process improvement
• Developing and documenting 'As Is' and 'To Be' process maps in compliance with enterprise process mapping standards
• Implementing/configuring Energy Components to meet business requirements
• Designing and documenting test scripts to ensure functional design meets all business requirements
• Collaborating with product development team and suggesting improvements
• And other duties as assigned.
