Job summary

Vipps is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Data Enablement & Analytics team in Oslo. You will shape product decisions by turning complex data into actionable insights for product, commercial and engineering teams across the Nordics.

You will explore data to uncover opportunities, apply experimentation and AI in analysis, and help raise data fluency across Vipps MobilePay. Collaboration with colleagues in Oslo and other Nordic offices is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, product analytics, analytics engineering or similar.
• Strong analytical skills, business understanding and ability to engage others.
• Able to spot where data could make a difference and communicate findings clearly.
• Proficient in SQL; comfortable using Python for analysis.
• Excellent communication to explain complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities where data can improve a product or business outcome and own the analytical work end-to-end.
• Incorporate AI in analysis and problem-solving and explore its benefits across Vipps MobilePay.
• Explore behaviour, run experiments and use A/B testing to understand users and commercial opportunities.
• Turn analysis into actionable insights and advise stakeholders on decisions.
• Contribute to data fluency, self-service and easier data questions across the company.
• Collaborate with data engineers, product and commercial teams to improve data products and tools.
