Vend is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join the Department of AI in Oslo/Stockholm, with a focus on building AI-native products and applying data science to innovate business models. You will work in cross-functional teams, collaborating with design, product, engineering, and business experts to deliver impactful AI solutions.

The role emphasizes experimentation with ML/AI systems and leveraging modern tools, including LLMs, to shape user experiences across Vend’s marketplaces.

Qualifications

• You are experienced in Data Science & Machine Learning with strong knowledge of ML algorithms and AI, plus practical experience building scalable models.
• You are up to date with modern AI tools and familiar with LLMs in your DS practice.
• You are innovative, collaborative and can apply DS to create novel products within cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in cross-functional teams to create agentic and AI-native products.
• Data Science is an integral part of AI-native product development.
• Work on projects like Finn Søkelys, chat-based discovery for living, and dealer recommendations.
• Offer DS courses/workshops for other Vend employees.
