Job summary

IKM Consultants AS in the Oslo region seeks a Data Engineer for a temporary assignment in Bærum to advance AI security, data protection controls, and secure AI workflows.

You will collaborate with Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI Foundry to implement guardrails, strengthen logging, threat monitoring, and response.

The project runs from October 12, 2026 to December 19, 2026.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Azure security, cloud security, and identity security.
• Deep technical expertise in securing AI platforms, AI agents, and agentic workflows.
• Proficiency with Microsoft's AI ecosystem and related tools.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Review and enhance data protection controls for AI agents, including Microsoft Purview and DLP policies.
• Assess and improve detections and alerting related to AI usage, leveraging tools like Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR.
• Support AI developers by providing secure design patterns, best practices, and security guidance.
• Implement and test guardrails to prevent unauthorized AI agent actions and data access.
• Improve the security posture of AI-related cloud services and infrastructure in Azure.
• Review and secure AI agent permissions, identities, tool access, and workflows.
• Establish and enhance logging, monitoring, auditing, and alerting for AI agent activities.
