Job summary

Ikm Gruppen AS in Norway seeks a senior security engineer to review and harden AI-related security controls across Azure, Defender XDR, and Purview. You will implement guardrails, improve logging and alerting, and guide AI developers with secure patterns.

The role focuses on safeguarding AI agents, managing permissions, and strengthening cloud infrastructure security in Azure, aligning with SSDLC and DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Azure security, cloud security, and identity security.
• Deep technical expertise in securing AI platforms, AI agents, and agentic workflows.
• Proficiency with Microsoft's AI ecosystem, including Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI Foundry.
• Strong skills in security monitoring, detection engineering, and data protection (DLP).
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender XDR, and Microsoft Purview.
• Familiarity with AI governance, AI security frameworks, and threat modeling for AI systems.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) security, SSDLC, and DevSecOps principles.

Responsibilities

• Review and enhance data protection controls for AI agents on Azure.
• Assess and improve detections and alerting for AI usage with Microsoft tools.
• Support AI developers with secure design patterns and security guidance.
• Implement and test guardrails to prevent unauthorized AI agent actions.
• Improve security posture of AI-related cloud services in Azure.
• Review AI agent permissions, identities, tool access, and workflows.
• Establish logging, monitoring, auditing, and alerting for AI agent activities.
• Evaluate and strengthen detection and response for AI-related threats.
