Job summary

IKM Consultants AS in the Oslo region seeks a Data Engineer for a temporary assignment in Bærum to advance AI security, data protection controls, and secure AI workflows.

You will collaborate with Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI Foundry to implement guardrails, strengthen logging, threat monitoring, and response.

The project runs from October 12, 2026 to December 19, 2026.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Azure security, cloud security, and identity security.
• Deep technical expertise in securing AI platforms, AI agents, and agentic workflows.
• Proficiency with Microsoft's AI ecosystem and related tools.
• Strong skills in security monitoring, detection engineering, and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Review and enhance data protection controls for AI agents (Purview, DLP).
• Assess detections and alerts for AI usage using Sentinel and Defender XDR.
• Provide secure design patterns, best practices, and security guidance to AI developers.
• Implement and test guardrails to prevent unauthorized AI actions and data access.
• Improve security posture of AI-related cloud services in Azure.
• Review and secure AI agent permissions, identities, tool access, and workflows.
• Establish logging, monitoring, auditing, and alerting for AI agent activities.
• Evaluate and strengthen detection and response for AI threats and misuse.
