Job summary

Head Energy Group is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer in Oslo to review AI data protection, DLP policies, and AI agent security across Azure services. You will assess Microsoft Purview, Sentinel, Defender XDR, and guardrails, while supporting AI developers with secure patterns and threat modeling.

English and Norwegian language skills are required; long-term or project engagements are offered. Responsibilities include establishing logging, monitoring and alerting for AI activity,

Qualifications

• Experience with Azure security, Purview and DLP controls.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR.
• Knowledge of AI governance and security in cloud infra.

Responsibilities

• Review data protection and DLP policies for AI agents.
• Assess AI agent logging, detections, and monitoring.
• Support secure design patterns and guardrails for AI developers.
• Implement guardrails to prevent unauthorized AI actions or data access.
• Evaluate security of AI-related Azure services and infra.
• Review AI agent permissions, tool access and workflows.
• Establish logging, monitoring, auditing and alerts for AI activity.
• Evaluate detection and response for AI threats and misuse.
• Report gaps and recommended actions with a final evaluation.
• Test and verify guardrails and detection mechanisms.

Job Description

• Review Microsoft Purview and DLP policies to assess whether data protection controls are adequately implemented to handle risks related to AI agents.
• Review Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR detections and alerting related to AI usage and data access.
• Review current logging and monitoring capability related to internal agent usage.
• Support AI developers with secure design patterns, guardrails, and security best practices.
• Assess and implement guardrails to prevent AI agents from performing unauthorized actions or accessing unauthorized data.
• Assess and improve the security posture of AI-related Azure services and infrastructure.
• Review AI agent permissions, identities, tool access, and workflow security.
• Establish logging, monitoring, auditing, and alerting for AI agent activity where needed.
• Evaluate detection and response capabilities for AI-related threats and misuse.
• Report with overall evaluation, identified gaps and specific recommended actions.
• Review, testing and verification of established guardrails and detections mechanisms.
