Job summary

Nscale, a European hyperscale AI infrastructure company, seeks a Senior Cost Manager to lead construction cost management across its data centre projects in Europe. Reporting to the Director, Commercial Operations, you will shape budgets, forecasts, and cost controls from early development through close-out.

You will collaborate with Development, Construction, Design, Procurement, Finance, and Operations to keep costs aligned with design and schedule, monitor market trends, and drive value

Qualifications

• Extensive cost management experience in hyperscale construction.
• 2+ years in data centres.
• MRICS or equivalent accreditation preferred.
• Fluency in English; other European languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management for hyperscale data centre construction projects.
• Develop and maintain detailed budgets, CAPEX models, cost plans, and cost-to-complete forecasts.
• Prepare and deliver cost reports, forecasts, cash flow analyses, and financial updates.
• Benchmark and review outcomes with senior stakeholders and provide commentary.
• Monitor project commitments, actual and forecast costs, and budget movements.
• Collaborate with Development, Construction, Design, Procurement, Finance, Commercial, and Operations to align cost objectives.
• Support procurement with cost estimates, tender reviews, and value-for-money analyses.
