Job summary

Acronis, a global leader in cyber protection, is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer in Oslo to drive technical wins across the sales cycle. You will design and present platform solutions, conduct hands-on demos, and coordinate with customers, partners and internal teams to articulate value and shape proposals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a related role, strong cloud and security experience, fluent German and English, and a willingness to travel internationally.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a relevant position.
• Experience with cloud-based apps: Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
• Design experience for backup, disaster recovery, and storage solutions.
• Security experience in areas such as EDR/MDR/XDR, antivirus, or email/network security.
• OS knowledge: Linux and Windows beneficial.
• Ability to articulate technical and business value propositions.
• Experience in customer and sales opportunity management.
• Strong listening, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• High discipline, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.
• Fluent in German and English; willing to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and partners to articulate solutions for providers, partners, and customers.
• Attend meetings as an Acronis tech expert; conduct demos and pitch products.
• Coordinate with customers, partners, and internal teams to drive adoption of Acronis solutions.
• Analyze business requirements, market strategies, and data-protection policies.
• Manage strategic accounts with Account Managers to shape sales strategies.
• Facilitate customer evaluations and proof of concept activities.
• Perform technical troubleshooting to win pre-sales.
• Present cost-effective solutions and gather technical requirements.
• Develop responses to RFIs & RFPs.
• Assist MSPs with integrating RMM platforms with the Acronis Platform.
