Job summary

Statkraft is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the Digital Transformation team. The role focuses on Beacon, the Portfolio and Risk Management platform, and Risk IT Tools, bridging business needs with IT solutions across trading risk, reporting and analytics.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst in complex IT or digital product environments.
• Strong analytical and financial-market knowledge including valuation methods.
• Experience in energy trading, derivatives, risk, or financial reporting.
• Practical Python for data analysis, prototyping or automation.
• Structured, hands-on approach with ownership through implementation and validation.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fluency in English; Scandinavian language knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key link between Markets and IT, translating business needs into solutions.
• Collaborate with business users, analysts and developers to define requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze financial models, valuation methodologies and quantitative calculations to support development.
• Coordinate dependencies between Beacon, internal models and the Risk IT landscape.
• Drive priorities and support delivery from needs to implementation and testing.
• Support continuous improvement of risk analytics, reporting and automation.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure end-to-end solution effectiveness.
