Job summary

University of Utah Health seeks a Senior Benefits Analyst to support the delivery and improvement of health, retirement, and voluntary benefit programs. You will partner with vendors, colleagues, and internal stakeholders to administer benefits, resolve complex cases, and contribute to initiatives that enhance employee experience.

The role combines advanced operational know-how with hands-on project and system support, focusing on accurate processing, data integrity, and timely service delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Six years of progressively responsible experience in employee benefits administration.
• Experience interpreting benefits regulations and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities

• Administers core benefit programs (health, retirement, life) with accurate enrollments and life events.
• Leads open enrollment, system configuration, testing, and vendor interfaces.
• Responds to escalated inquiries and supports complex benefit issues with policy adherence.
• Collaborates with Payroll, Accounting, and vendors to ensure payroll deductions and data integrity.
