Innoverse is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to own systems end-to-end, across fintech platforms, AI-powered SaaS, and internal tools. You will write code, design architectures, and ship meaningful features in a remote-friendly environment.

You will collaborate with founders and product teams to transform business problems into scalable technical solutions, contributing to system design decisions and engineering best practices while maintaining a reliability-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript and Node.js (NestJS, Express, or similar).
• Deep understanding of backend architecture: services, APIs, queues, caching, async workflows.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and SQL.
• Real production experience: debugging, incident response, performance optimization.
• English level B2+ (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Own backend services end-to-end — from architecture through deployment to production support.
• Build and evolve REST APIs and microservice architectures for clients and internal products.
• Collaborate with founders and product teams to turn business problems into technical solutions.
• Contribute to system design decisions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Investigate and resolve production issues with a reliability-first mindset.
