Job summary

Vinted is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer II to join the Engineering Experience domain. You will help build the tools, platforms and golden paths that power engineering across the company, focusing on scalable backend systems and AI-enabled engineering workflows.

You will design and deliver tools and services that improve development speed, reliability and quality, collaborating with multiple teams in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building, and operating backend systems or developer tools at scale.
• Strong focus on AI-assisted engineering and enabling others to use AI in their workflow.
• Proven track record shipping tools, platforms, or services used by other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and own tools, services and frameworks that speed development, delivery and quality, using Go, Ruby and Kubernetes.
• Explore, adopt and enable AI-assisted approaches for delivery and quality improvements.
• Ensure output is usable by hundreds of engineers across Vinted.
• Make codebases work well with coding agents, including conventions and scaffolding for AI-generated code.
• Build tooling and processes to handle complex problems like PR-merge pipelines.
• Improve environments and pipelines so agents can validate changes rapidly.
• Own solutions end-to-end from idea to wide adoption.
