Job summary
HMH in Kristiansand is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to bridge engineering, commercial teams, and customers. You will translate technical needs into strong commercial and technical solutions, supporting sales activities, tenders, quotations, product documentation, and customer clarifications.
You will work with Aftermarket and Commercial teams to identify opportunities, develop quotations with solution descriptions and cost calculations, and provide technical support to key account
Qualifications
- Continuous improvement mindset and analytical thinking.
- Strong hands-on drilling equipment experience.
- Ability to drive processes with application and sales teams.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication.
- Curiosity for sales processes, products and multi-discipline tech.
- Proficient in Office 365 suite.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD/ACAD and 3D engineering tools.
- AI experience is an advantage but not required.
Responsibilities
- Translate technical needs into commercial and technical solutions.
- Support sales activities, tenders, quotations and product docs.
- Collaborate with Aftermarket and Commercial teams on cost calculations.
- Provide technical support to key account managers and clients.
- Contribute to project start-up and innovation initiatives.
- Maintain standard product libraries for quoting processes.
