Job summary

GeekSoft Consulting is seeking an experienced Cutover Lead to manage SAP go-live activities and weekend cutovers. You will design and execute the cutover strategy, coordinate across business teams, SAP functions, and integrations to ensure a successful conversion and handover to operations.

The role requires proven SAP cutover experience, ability to coordinate large teams, and hands-on leadership for mock cutovers, rehearsals, and go-live readiness.

Qualifications

• Lead and approve the cutover strategy and approach for SAP system conversion.
• Coordinate cutover activities across business teams, SAP functional domains, integration teams, and satellite application owners.
• Manage cutover risks, issues, go/no-go criteria, escalations, and rollback planning.
• Lead cutover execution during go-live and ensure a smooth handover to hypercare and operations.
• Lead mock cutovers, dress rehearsals, and end-to-end go-live simulations.
• Proven experience as a Cutover Lead for large-scale SAP go-live projects, covering the complete landscape in a single weekend.
• Strong experience in cutover planning, mock cutovers, and dress rehearsals.
• Strong understanding of go/no-go criteria, escalation management, and rollback planning.
• Proven ability to coordinate business, functional, technical, integration, and satellite application teams throughout the cutover weekend.
• Experience with S/4HANA conversion cutovers.
• Experience managing a 24/7 command centre during go-live.
• Experience with hypercare transition and handover to operations.
