Job summary

FutureCare Health is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead a dedicated nursing team within our skilled nursing unit. You will drive daily operations, uphold nursing standards, and coordinate care plans in partnership with the Director of Nursing and physicians.

The role requires an active Maryland RN license, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and 1–3 years of managerial experience in acute or long-term care.

Qualifications

Active Maryland RN license
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred)
1–3 years managerial experience
Experience in acute or long-term care
Must possess a current CPR license

Responsibilities

Lead daily operations within the skilled nursing unit to ensure quality service and compliance with nursing standards and regulations
Oversee day-to-day care and maintain resident restorative health
Develop and implement resident care plans as needed
Evaluate, prioritize, and meet each resident’s care needs
Supervise and develop nursing staff, addressing performance as needed
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Physicians to plan and maintain resident care
Identify issues and resolve procedural problems with leadership guidance
Direct clinical nursing activities and engage in clinical tasks as required
Serve as main point of contact between residents and families to address concerns
Conduct audits, complete charting, and manage administrative tasks
