Job summary

Equinor in Norway is recruiting a Reservoir Engineer to apply analytical and modelling techniques across subsurface evaluations for optimal drainage and well planning throughout the project life cycle.

You will contribute to field development maturation, reservoir management, and production forecasting while supporting digitalization and cross-disciplinary collaboration. The role includes potential rotation between Harstad and other northern locations as part of the North Development Program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant technical discipline.
• Relevant software competence, and the ability to learn new tools.
• Programming (Python, JavaScript) capabilities are an advantage.
• A maximum of three years of relevant fulltime work experience.
• Operational experience and experience from field development projects will be of advantage.
• Innovative and digital mindset, and an eagerness to learn and develop.
• Fluency in Norwegian language (both written and spoken) and good communication skills in English.
• Excitement about the opportunity to be living and working from Harstad.
