Job summary

OsloMet, through Oslo Business School, invites applications for a 50% Research Assistant position in the CAMELOT project. The role focuses on theoretical work on long-term governance and on developing experimental research for climate governance.

You will assist literature reviews, drafts and summaries, and contribute to manuscript preparation while engaging with an interdisciplinary team. We value rigorous literature synthesis, analytical writing, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or near completion in political science, public administration, or related fields.
• Sophisticated ability to find, evaluate, and synthesize academic literature.
• Strong analytical and academic writing skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Independent, careful, and systematic work within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Identify, collect, organize, and synthesize relevant literature across fields.
• Prepare research summaries and memos to support publications.
• Support manuscript preparation, including references and formatting.
• Assist development of experimental treatments via literature reviews and design meetings.
• Explore potential partners, sites, and resources for experimental work.
