Job summary

OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University invites applications for a 50% Research Assistant position, six months, in the ERC-funded CAMELOT project at Oslo Business School. The role centers on theoretical and conceptual work on long-term governance capacities and developing experimental research designs.

You will join the Public Administration and Governance unit, conduct literature reviews, prepare research memos, assist manuscript preparation, and collaborate with the project team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or near completion in political science, public administration, environmental governance, sustainability science, environmental social science or related field.
• Strong ability to find, evaluate, and synthesize academic literature.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work carefully, independently, and systematically while collaborating with others.

Responsibilities

• Identify, collect, organize, and synthesize relevant literature across disciplines.
• Prepare research summaries and memos to support publications.
• Assist manuscript preparation, including reference checking and formatting.
• Support development of experimental treatments through literature reviews and planning meetings.
• Research potential partners, sites, and resources for CAMELOT's experimental work.
