Job summary

OsloMet invites applications for a 50% Research Assistant position in the ERC-funded CAMELOT project based at Oslo Business School. The role focuses on theoretical work on long-term governance capacities and developing experimental climate governance research, working within WP1 and WP2 across a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree or is near completion in political science, public administration, or related fields, with strong literature synthesis and English

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or near completion in political science, public administration, environmental governance, sustainability science, or related field.
  • Strong ability to find, evaluate, and synthesize academic literature.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, collect, and synthesize relevant academic literature across fields.
  • Prepare research summaries and memos to support publications.
  • Assist manuscript preparation and reference management.
  • Support development of experimental treatments through literature reviews and meetings.
  • Research potential partners and resources for CAMELOT's experiments.
