Job summary

OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University invites applications for a PhD Research Fellow in long-term climate governance, starting April 2027, connected to the ERC-funded CAMELOT project. The three-year full-time position may extend to four years if teaching duties are included.

The fellow will be based at Oslo Business School, in the Public Administration and Governance unit, and enrolled in OsloMet's BIG PhD programme. The aim is to complete the doctoral degree during employment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a master's degree and demonstrate knowledge of research methods relevant to the proposed PhD project.
• Strong analytical and academic writing skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop an independent research project contributing to CAMELOT's objectives.
• Collaborate closely with the CAMELOT team and Oslo Business School researchers.
• Complete the doctoral degree during the employment period.
• Propose original research questions connected to long-term climate governance.
