ABB is seeking a Power System Design Engineer to design and analyze power systems for industrial, offshore, subsea, and renewable energy projects. You will perform load flow and dynamic studies and develop protection and control philosophies.

We welcome MSc graduates and experienced engineers with a passion for the energy transition. English fluency is required; Norwegian is a plus, and ABB offers flexible working arrangements, including up to 60% remote work, based in Fornebu.

Qualificações

• MSc in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with power system design and analysis.
• Fluency in English; Norwegian is an advantage
• Experience in offshore wind, hydrogen, battery systems, microgrids, or subsea electrical systems is beneficial

Responsabilidades

• Design and analyze power systems for industrial, offshore, subsea, and renewable energy projects.
• Perform load flow, short-circuit, harmonic, dynamic, and transient studies.
• Develop power system, protection, and control philosophies and ensure compliance with grid code requirements.
• Support customers and project teams with technical expertise throughout all project phases.
• Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, manufacturing, testing, and commissioning teams.
• Share knowledge and contribute to ABB's power systems expertise
