Job summary

Dune is seeking a software engineer focused on data to scale its blockchain data platform. You will design and implement distributed systems that ingest petabytes of data and support fast SQL queries across datasets.

You'll mainly code in Kotlin and Go, with Java and Rust as needed, and push for high performance, robust testing, and automated incident diagnosis. Join a fast, globally distributed team building AI-enabled automation.

Qualifications

• Strong CS fundamentals and ability to design distributed systems.
• Experience with JVM languages and data platform development.
• Understanding of blockchain RPC interactions and data ingestion.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop distributed systems for large-scale data.
• Own components of the data platform such as ingestion and decoding.
• Write primarily Kotlin and Go, with Java and Rust as needed.
• Improve developer experience with tests and deployment tooling.
• Explore AI-enabled automation for incident diagnosis and resolution.
• Collaborate with a fast, distributed engineering team.
