Job summary

Muybridge is building a new kind of camera system where a backend interfaces with external APIs and production environments. You will design the backend services behind our applications, implement robust interfaces, and ensure real-time connectivity with professional production workflows.

The role centers on Rust for the backend, focusing on security, reliability, and clear contracts. You’ll help shape the API layer that enables future intelligence on the application stack.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing and building backend services and external-facing APIs.
• Production experience with Rust, or solid experience with a comparable systems language.
• Security-minded engineering: authentication, authorization, trust boundaries.
• Solid grounding in networking and systems fundamentals.
• A track record of writing robust, tested, production-grade code.
