Job summary

Scrambly is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to help build the core systems powering a fast-growing adtech platform used by millions worldwide. You will design and implement scalable Node.js services (NestJS), optimize APIs, and collaborate with product, design, and QA to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

You will mentor teammates, improve reliability, and partner with DevOps to streamline CI/CD, containerization, and cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong Node.js/NestJS expertise with scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containers, and IaC.
• Excellent collaboration with product/design/QA teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Node.js RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and pair programming.
• Monitor reliability, optimize CI/CD, and manage container lifecycles.
• Collaborate withProduct, Design, and QA to translate requirements into robust specs.
