Job summary

Dovre Solutions in Stavanger is seeking a Supply Chain professional to manage purchase orders, evaluate quotations, and drive cost reductions for oil & gas projects during the 2026–2028 engagement.

You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and compliance with internal guidelines. English and Norwegian communication skills are essential, with SAP experience considered an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in supply chain management in Oil & Gas.
• Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Issue and follow-up on purchase orders with focus on cost reduction and value creation.
• Conduct market screening to identify cost-effective suppliers and solutions.
• Prepare inquiry documents for equipment and services in close cooperation with engineering.
• Perform commercial evaluations of quotations.
• Monitor and ensure delivery within the agreed timeframe, cost, and quality.
• Manage variation handling and risks, deviations, and invoice processing.
• Ensure all activities comply with guidelines and procedures.
• Continuously work to reduce risks and costs and improve delivery quality.

Function

• Issue and follow-up on purchase orders with strong emphasis on cost reduction and value creation
• Conduct market screening to identify cost-effective suppliers and solutions
• Prepare inquiry documents for equipment and services in close cooperation with engineering
• Perform commercial evaluations of quotations
• Monitor and ensure delivery within the agreed timeframe, cost, and quality
• Manage variation handling
• Handle risks, deviations, and invoice processing
• Ensure all activities comply with our guidelines, work instructions, and procedures
• Continuously work on improvements to reduce internal and external risks and costs, enhance delivery quality, and strengthen collaboration

Required Education

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Relevant subjects: Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering and similar

Required Work Experience

• Minimum3 years’ experience within supply chain management in Oil & Gas

Required Qualifications

• You are commercially aware
• You are professional and an independent team player
• You have strong oral and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English
• You are flexible and willing to adapt to changes
• You engage positively with others and demonstrate a high degree of collaboration skills
• You work in a structured and efficient manner, always in accordance with applicable guidelines
