Job summary

Head Energy Consulting AS in Stavanger seeks a Purchaser to manage purchase orders, source cost-effective suppliers, and drive value creation in onshore/offshore projects. You will work closely with engineering teams to prepare inquiries and secure favorable terms.

Responsibilities include evaluating quotations, ensuring timely delivery, managing variations and invoicing, and upholding all guidelines. Fluency in Norwegian and English is required, SAP experience is a plus, and you will join a

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in supply chain management in Oil & Gas.
• Commercially aware with strong communication skills in Norwegian and English.
• Independent, structured, and able to work in a team.
• Experience with SAP is an advantage.

Job Description

• Issue and follow-up on purchase orders with strong emphasis on cost reduction and value creation


• Conduct market screening to identify cost-effective suppliers and solutions


• Prepare inquiry documents for equipment and services in close cooperation with engineering


• Perform commercial evaluations of quotations


• Monitor and ensure delivery within the agreed timeframe, cost, and quality


• Manage variation handling


• Handle risks, deviations, and invoice processing


• Ensure all activities comply with our guidelines, work instructions, and procedures


• Continuously work on improvements to reduce internal and external risks and costs, enhance delivery quality, and strengthen collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree Relevant subjects: Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering and similar


• Minimum3 years’ experience within supply chain management in Oil & Gas


• You are commercially aware


• You are professional and an independent team player


• You have strong oral and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English


• You work in a structured and efficient manner, always in accordance with applicable guidelines


• Experience with SAP is an advantage


• A high degree of data discipline is preferred


• You are flexible and willing to adapt to changes
