Job summary

MacGregor, a global provider of maritime cargo and load handling solutions, is seeking a Purchaser to support projects and the project manager with purchasing tasks.

You will track item costs, monitor budgets, maintain supplier data in the ERP, process requisitions and POs, and assist with price negotiations to help on-time delivery and cost control. The role requires alignment with IMS, PEM and QEHS guidelines and fluent English.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of purchasing, logistics, or supply chain experience.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Serve as daily purchasing contact for assigned projects.
• Assist in monitoring project item budgets and monthly deviation reporting.
• Maintain supplier data and updated prices in the ERP system.
• Process purchase requisitions, place POs, follow up on deliveries.
• Support the handling of Free Issued Items (FII) to ensure on-time delivery to the production site.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for cost savings and manage supplier issues.
