Job summary

Hydro in Norway is seeking an experienced Project Manager to plan and execute internal development, pilot, and modification projects for the HalZero CO2 emission-free aluminium process. Based in Porsgrunn, you will lead owner-side project management for this strategic program and coordinate stakeholders to deliver on technology development and industrialization goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial projects, process industry, pilot plants, or R&D.
• Ability to lead complex projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of project execution from concept to handover.
• Experience with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Ability to mobilize Hydro internal resources for project work.
• Experience with safe and compliant project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead owner-side project management on behalf of HalZero for internal development, pilot, and modification projects.
• Drive project planning and execution from concept to handover.
• Identify and mobilize Hydro internal resources to support development and execution.
• Ensure HSE and compliance through risk management and governance.
• Coordinate stakeholders across technology, engineering, operations, and suppliers.
• Translate technical requirements into practical solutions and oversee installation/commissioning.
• Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement of project practices.
