Job summary

Hydro Aluminium Metal is seeking graduates to join its program in Husnes to work on process control, optimization and standardization to enhance operational performance. You will analyze process data to identify trends and root causes, and implement improvements with a focus on safety, quality and efficiency.

Successful candidates have a master's degree in relevant fields and up to two years of post-graduation experience, with strong English and knowledge of Python, Excel and Lean.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics, Energy and Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Maximum of two years of full-time work experience after graduation.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of Python, Excel, and Lean methodologies.
• Structured development program as part of the graduate track.

Responsibilities

• Work with process control, optimization, and standardization to improve operational performance.

• Drive and support preventive EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) initiatives.

What you will be doing

Proficiency in written and spoken English, with a preference for proficiency in a Scandinavian language.

Knowledge of Python, Excel, and Lean methodologies, with experience in continuous improvement initiatives.

Strong teamwork skills and a systematic approach to problems will be highly beneficial.

Self driven and autonomous.
