LMOceans is seeking a seasoned Discipline Lead in Southern Norway to manage the Process Engineering discipline across marine and energy projects. You will lead design activities, coordinate calculations and simulations, and act as the primary technical contact for clients and partners.

The ideal candidate has 10–15+ years in process engineering, hands-on experience with HAZOP/HAZID and process safety, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Process Engineering or related discipline.
• 10–15+ years in process engineering for marine, offshore, energy, or industrial projects.
• Experience as Discipline Lead or senior process engineer in multi-disciplinary projects.
• Strong knowledge of process design, safety, and interface engineering; HAZOP/HAZID/SIL familiar.
• English fluency required; Norwegian language a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead the process engineering discipline across projects, ensuring design integrity and technical quality.
• Act as the technical authority and coordinator for process design, calculations, simulations, documentation and deliverables.
• Serve as the principal technical contact for clients, shipyards, licensors and project partners.
• Develop and review process simulations, PFDs, P&IDs, Heat and Material Balances, and process design documents.
• Plan, facilitate and participate in design reviews, HAZID/HAZOP, and SIL assessments.
• Ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, standards and project requirements.
• Contribute to concept development, FEED studies, EPC project execution and tender activities.
• Ensure effective integration between process systems and marine interfaces; coordinate with other disciplines.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring and support to engineers within the discipline.
